Siege Weapons
Catapult- Used to launch rocks, fiery debris, and more over or into fortress walls and other fortified structures.
Cannon- Ship cannon used in naval warfare to fire cannonballs and firepots into enemy ships or shoreline fortifications.
Battering Rams- A large, sometimes ornate, log reinforced and slammed into walls by many men.
Siege Ladders- Reinforced ladders used by large invasion forces to scale fortified walls and attack from within/
Ranged Weapons
Bow- Classic weapon that launches arrows from a fair range at on-coming enemies or officers in groups commonly used to cover infantry units.
Crossbow- Spin on a classic weapon that shoots a bolt a farther range and with more power then its cousin but has the same purpose.
Musket- A one-shot rifle that needs to be reloaded with a ball and gunpowder to be fired again. It is much more powerful and can be equipped with a bayonet for melee combat.
Pistol- Reloading much as the musket but much more concealable but less range and power; allows as more of a sidearm then a true weapon.
Main Weapons
Swords
Zanbato- Giant two-handed sword used to chop through cavalry and their mounts with ease or to make quick work out of infantry units.
Katana- The trademark weapon of the loyal samurai: a two-handed single-edged blade that could be a formidable foe on the field of combat.
Tanto- Smaller cousin of a Katana used as the average samurai’s sidearm or as a dagger for rouge assassins.
Tachi- More curved and slightly longer cousin of the katana used mainly on horseback but also in footbattles when nessesary.
Broadsword- The normal sword with a flat blade with a good width.
Jian- Double-edged straight sword with a guard to protect the hands from an opponent’s blade allowing great handling on the behave of the wielder.
Jagged Sword- Normal single-edged sword with a sharp jagged razor edge looks like it was meant for more barbaric combat.
Snake Sword- Double-edged sword with a blade locked around chain whip that allows the blade to separate into segments and work much like a bladed whip.
Dao- Single-edged sword with a broad-blade primarily used for slashing and chopping in warfare.
Shinken in Oil Umbrella- A think, light blade concealed in the handle of an ornate oil paper umbrella that can be easily snuck around allowing a surprise on the battlefield.
Dadao- A dao with a longer hilt and blade morphing it into a two-handed blade but can have the same purpose but with a wider range.
Seven-Pronged Sword- A long iron double-handed sword with six other curved blades coming out of the main blade like a tree branch allowing more cuts per slice.
Spears and Poles
Spear- Standard spear with the triangular iron tip commonly used by infantry or humble officers.
Yari- Straight-headed spear with a long pointed blade and a long metal tang for durability and skill.
Ji- Spear with small crescent blades attached to the head and a red horsehair tassel where the head is fixed to the shaft commonly made even more ornate for battle.
Halberd- Two-handed pole weapon that consists of an axe blade topped with a spike mounted on a long shaft.
Lance- Long bladed pole weapon used mainly for cavalry or plowing through units with ease and strength on foot with intimidating power at the hands of the wielder.
Guan Dao- Long pole with a curved blade with a small notch hook on the back of the blade to catch an enemy’s weapon or block an attack.
Monk’s Spade- long pole with a flat spade-like blade on one end and a smaller crescent shaped blade on the other basically a halberd and a shovel combined..
Scythe- A curved bladed two-handed tool in farming turned haunting weapon of warfare that seems to just rip the soul from the human form.
Naginata- Wood shaft with a curved blade on the end similar to a short katana on a pole and it is very popular with the samurai class.
Trident- Three-pronged double-handed spear adapted from fishing tools into a battle weapon.
War Fork- Two-pronged double handed spear working very similar to a trident bit with two longer prongs.
Club- Heavy metal sphere mounted on a strong pole for crushing enemy units without mercy.
Axes, Maces and Hammers
Ono- Ninja-style hatchet adapted into warfare as a convenient weapon for those who want to make heads roll.
Rod- Steel or iron rod coiled around a solid iron bar used as a powerful melee weapon with a duel wield or a shield.
Chui- Large, solid metal sphere on the end of a medium-long handle for one-handed wielding commonly ornate and made like a classic mace for dancers or women in battle.
Tonfa- Metal or hard wood club with a smaller cylindrical grip secured at a 90 degrees angle to the main shaft used for melee combat.
War Hammer- A stone block carved carefully and reinforced by hot iron on the end of a strong handle for powerful melee combat to crush bones and shatter skulls.
Martial
Bo Staff- Single-piece wooden pole used in martial arts and warfare combat by whacking, jabbing and tripping enemies.
Tessen- Iron warfare that has razor edges for slashing, blocking and using your enemies power against them for an easier fight and elegant styles.
Gauntlets- Pieces of armor over the back of the hand and forearm that allows defensive power and enhanced strength for combat allowing fists to be used with guards.
Sai- Sharp, pointed, rod-shaped baton, with two shorter, unsharpened projections attached to the handle.
Kama- Smaller scythe used mainly by ninja and warriors and commonly duel-wielded and had chains attached for swinging attacks.
Tiger Claws- Claws with three-hooked blades coming off each claw for slashing attacks making them also called “Cat Claws” and “Talons”.
Kunai- A small sharp knife of varying dagger lengths for slashing or stabbing or even throwing during combat making it a common ninja weapon and tool.
Meteor Hammer- A set of tied ropes with a loops to swing around one or two weights with the wielder’s ankles, wrists and arms for strong, unpredictable attacks.
Nunchaku- Two wooden pieces chained together for unpredictable attacks. They are sometimes bladed for extra power and although rare they can be duel wielded.
Sansetsukon- Three wooden pieces chained together for a longer range then a nunchaku but with the same process basically.
Elbow Blades- Like a Tonfa, they have a grip and a blade coming off it for stabbing and a longer blade coming from the grip along the forearm.
Other
Staff- Piece of wood enchanted and carved for magical spell and magical combat while it can also be a walking stick.
Dai Shuriken- Giant, four-pronged shuriken locked in that star position for blocking, slicing, and short range throwing with massive power.
Giant Chakram- Large ring with a blade along the outside, besides two grips for holding, allowing slicing and dicing even throwing cutting through units.
Hiraikotsu- Giant wooden boomerang blessed by a yokai hunter with the blood of an oni making it great for demon slaying or infantry bashing.
Flute- Musical instrument that can play a joyful tune or a mystical melody but it also has a small knife like bayonet on the end for stabbing and slicing.
Bucklar Blade- A unique weapon in the form of shield containing a blade that can be either swung attached to the buckler, or removed and used in manner similar to a sword.
Side Weapons
Fire Bombs- Explosive capsules thrown by ninja or samurai to cause an explosive fire against enemy infantry units.
Senbon Needles- Thin needles that can be thrown into pressure points of enemies, hidden in umbrellas for a raining attack or used in medicine during a battle.
Smoke Pellets- Explosive capsules thrown by anyone to form a black, chocking smog to form an effective smokescreen for an ambush or quick exit.
Metsubishi- Bamboo segments sealed by oil paper with slits cut in the sides to lessen structural strength filled with sand and metal shavings to burst and blind foes.
Sashimono- Not really a weapon but a banner on a pole held on the backs of samurai, mercenaries and even ninja to show affiliation, clan or other things and their colors.
Kakute- Metal ring with a sharpened stub, usually worn by kunochi or other women, dipped in poison and stabbed into foes for a hidden, sudden poison injection.
Makibishi- Small spiked jacks made by wielding numerous nails together so it always points up to stab into the feet of horses, elephants, foot soldiers and even ninja.
Sutra- Blessed cards used to banish, seal, or create a barrier against oni, yokai and any dark energy force.
Strategist’s Fan- Ornate feather fan (swan, raven, peathingy, etc.) with golden details and used by strategists or intellectuals in battle.
War Fan- More like an iron paddle then a fan; renowned warlords and battlefield legends to beat foes into submission use it.
