The steaming porceline teapot detailed with images of a dragon dueling a tiger poured hot tea into small cups that are equally detailed with images. A small cast filled with sweet rice wine or sake was poured into one of the cups that Lord Tadayoshi took and drank down quickly. He nodded to the servant who placed the wooden tray of wines at his feet brought his fists together and bowed. Before picking up the tray and walking off. The sages of the court were discussing philosophy while the guards at the door stood their ground with their spears.
The lord rose to his feet and thought before reaching for his sword and drawing the flamberge - a flame-bladed sword as it was known as - its metal edges mimicing the seering flames for which Tadayoshi wore red on his armor to represented. "Men! Sages! Guards! Here me now!" He slashed his sword around in the air. "Soon we shall fight and many of our men will die to bring liberty to the rouge territory and tame the providences of the outlaws and bring forth the people voices." He called out through the balcony and heard the calls of the soldiers cheer back.

Hmm so there was to be another. How foolish were men really to believe that war could possibly solve all their problems. Truth was she was thrilled to hear that there was an uncoming battle she would gladly participate. Though here she may appear as a wonderful geisha, she in fact was a skilled kunoichi by secret. It was her destiny to rise up above everyone around her. She stepped into the palace gracefully. Trying her hardest not to be noticed by anyone. But then again was that possible for someone of her status now? She now had a wonderful reputation of be the finest geisha in the whole city.
But Hana wouldn't have a grand entrance. No this geisha was too crafty to even think such things. Personally what she hated the most was being escorted in somewhere. But sometimes she didn't have choices in the matter. But that was the way of the Geisha, you couldn't have everything the way you wanted. And also one thing that she could never experience ever as a geisha, was love. But she could break those rules once in awhile, but no one else must ever know that part of her. No that was her best kept secret since she was living in that little village. Now look at her now. She gazed from the shadows to see what was happening. Hoping that no one would notice her being there.

Kenji entered the room as his uncle was making his boring speech. He saw that the men were ready to fight to the death for him and he realized that it may just be his uncle that controls the intire land, but he coulnt go down on his word. Kenji walked up to the throne as the sevents bowed to him. "Uncle since we have one of the largest lands and we are close to the water the enemy are sure to want this land first you must be ready for a defencive" Kenji said as he sat down on a chair close to the throne were the servants handed him a nice cup of sake.
"Uncle you should send me to the neighboring lands and let me destroy there local lords, it will be easier if you send me, my men are alot stronger then yours and you could stay hear and organise a defence" Kenji said as he laughed trying to get his uncle a bit jealous. Kenji then ordered another sake and a some sushi. Kenji knew that thier land had the best sushi because of there great naval ports and fishing docks. He ate the sushi and gulped down the sake in a flash. He was so ready to start fighting that you could accually hear the scream of his men outside the castle. |

Tadayoshi laughed loudly. "You're lack of faith in me is troubling, nephew. I already have a defensive regiment ready. 75, 000 men of regular soldiers mixed with a peasent militia ready to hold the walls of our land and our borders at a flip of my hand. While you are so willing to butcher the lords of our rival territories...I have enforced your army with another 500 soldiers...an elite class of sabermen...to allow the capture of enemy posititons. Our fishing centers and ports are a major target so i divided 2% of our armed men to guard that line from anything hostile and to kill a threat upon sight." He drank more sake and then looked out over the balcony. "You carry the least heaviest burdon Kenji...your double halbreds don't take the weight of an entire land upon them. My back is broken by the weight of it all...I fight with the pounds of an entire world slammed down upon by back."
The lord walked off and then snapped quickly drawing his sworld and placing the tip of it at his nephew's throat. "You're a military juggernaunt but you lack the strategic mind of a lord. At my death...this land is yours...if you have little faith in my defensive lines then you are blind to the strategy in place."

Kenji saw how his uncle got angered and kenji gets easily pissed off as well. Suddenly his uncle point his sword at kenjis next. Kenji pushed the sword away tot he side with his two fingers and placed the tip of it on his shoulder. "Ha you actually think your job his that hard you sit on your ass while me and our soldiers are out there fighting for your cause and if you want to kill me do cause you be losing your greatest assist in this war"Kenji said as he got up stand tall over his uncle.
The guards ran down and put out there spears toward Kenji. Kenji then grabbed both spears and pulled hardly. the men still holding on we sent into the air then land on to the table that was on the side of the room breaking it. Kenji then turned his attention to his uncle. "If you think that you can threaten me all the time your wrong cause ill leave you in a flash if you ever do it again" Kenji said as he slammed is his on the pillar that was on the right of him. Kenji looked around to see the people were frightened of him so he calmed down and looked back at his uncle. "Well what are your or... wait forget it I dont need to take orders from a lazy bastard am going to attack anyway" Kenji said as he walked off order a servant to ready his horse and armor. As he was walking out his gaze opened up to a geisha who was beautiful. He didnt walk over but he just gave her a slight look of compassion. |

Hana took notice of Kenji's leave. Huh I wonder what all that could be about? He sure left in such a hurry. Wonder what could have caused something to make him feel like this? She decided that it was best to make her move now while she still could. Within the shadows she wondered if she could sneak past the guards into where the lord was. Hmm it seemed interesting to her that she was willing to take up the challenge. She walked as swiftly as her sensei had taught her. She hadn't done all that training for nothing. She just felt that perhaps there was more to life than being just the most popular geisha in town.
In the shadows she slipped out of her kimono. Underneath that were her true colors. She could slip through the most difficult situations without being noticed. The outfit she was wearing was something sliming for her stature. Now she was no longer a geisha, but a kunoichi. She had also a different persona added onto this new appearance. Now her mission was to see the lord herself. She wanted to know what was it about all this war talk. What was it really that was going to happen to this land. She needed to know these things in order to go on with her life.

The guards got up and a guard captain ran to Tadayoshi. "Sir...we can assemble a force of fifty elites to bring that trator back and punish him for defying your honor."
Tadayoshi cluthed his hand around the man's throat. "How you disgrace my name! That is my nephew! My clan blood and my greatest warrior! His fury is the iron in all my men's swords. He personifies battle field stamina and plays the game of fear...and he wins. Disband the party or I'll have your head. If you order a single man to attack my family...I'll do worse then death." Tadayoshi released the man who bowed and left. That was a rare moment for the lord to lash out on his men but he saw Kenji's rage as a powerful weapon. As Lord Tadayoshi was the red dragon of the land...Kenji was the black tiger.

She slunk in as quiet as a mouse. No one might suspect anything wrong from this. She wondered what could possibly be happening right now. She could tell by Kenji's look of compassion to her early she saw that there was some anger within it. She wondered what could have caused him to feel this way. Well she didn't know what she could do for him now. Now since he was gone and she was in his uncle's throne room. There was no sense in turning back now. But what was her soul purpose to come in here in the first place?
Now that she thought about it she had second thoughts about it. But as a kunoichi you need not to worry too much of those around you. But she was keen with all six senses. She could take down any man who dare oppose her. If anyone ever thought her to be a weak and beautiful geisha, then they were wrong. No, she was a geisha by soul purpose of life. But her secret life was that of kunoichi. It was something that she always dreamed about. But no one would acknowledge her as an equal and they might think her weak because she was a woman. No, never doubt someone just because of their sex. But now it was being a geisha that got her the life of luxury that she desired. But she wasn't at all spoiled. No, she was one without a family now, well her immediate family. She came here with a purpose. Now that was to speak to the lord.
Then out of nowhere she starts wondering a little about Kenji. Hmm she wondered what he could be doing right now. Hmm perhaps she should pay him a little visit. Since he saw her as a drop dead gorgeous geisha. Perhaps he wouldn't mind coming into hand to hand combat with a skillful yet cunning kunoichi. But she reminded herself that she would never let her guard down one second with him. Now just as slick as she came in she slipped past the guards again and was off to see if she could find Kenji
(she's no longer here anymore. sry spellca, but this post is old and i need to keep her active. well i want to post with her in new places. bye bye for now.
